africon welcomes Tich Mbiri as a Senior Analyst in South Africa

We are pleased to welcome Tich Mbiri as the newest member of our team in South Africa. Our project work in the region continues to grow, and Tich brings a unique blend of international experience and multidisciplinary expertise to africon.

He has built a diverse professional background as a Business Consultant in the TVET sector, where he specialized in fostering collaboration between South Africa and Japan in IT, Financial Services, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Goods. His global exposure and cross‑cultural engagement strengthen africon’s ability to support clients operating across different markets. Tich speaks Japanese and holds an MBA from Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan, with a focus on KAIZEN Continuous Improvement, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

Reflecting on his new role, Tich says; “I am excited to join africon and support in project work, international development and cultural exchange. I look forward to contributing to impactful work across the continent.”
