For the 12th time, the MEDICA TECH FORUM took place at MEDICA trade fair in Düsseldorf. Experts from the healthcare market presented on current relevant topics from the economy, technology, science, and politics relating to medical technology. The forum was organized by leading industry associations SPECTARIS and ZVEI.
Erik Deitersen, principal at africon, presented on the topic of Emerging opportunities for medical companies in Africa. While Africa’s medical market contains great opportunities, numerous international firms face challenges when doing business on the continent. A key reason is the very significant differences in the business environments in Africa and those in other global markets. Our presentation shared vital data and insights and gave firms recommendations on how to expand to and in Africa.
